Biography

Born in Rome in 1972 he is the son of actor Antonio Sabato. He moved to America with his entire family when he was 12. His acting debut began in 1992 on the soap General Hospital . Soap Opera Digest honored him as the Hottest Male and Outstanding Newcomer. He was also chosen as one of 'People' magazine's "50 most beautiful people".

After 4 years on General Hospital he left the show for a part on the Steven Spielberg prime-time drama 'Earth 2.' The trials and turbulances of the show caused for an abrupt cancellation at the end of its first year. After that year Antonio was more cautious about jumping into another full-time TV soap opera, so he took a six episode contract with the show 'Melrose Place.'

After starring in Fox TV's "If Looks Could Kill', Antonio was signed as the spokesmodel for Calvin Klein underwear. After three years as an underwear model he moved on to doing films. His big break came with a role in "The Big Hit".

Along with his countless other talents, Antonio is now a published author. His book is called 'No Excuses: Workout for Life' and was released in October 1999. You will soon see Antonio's book on the Best Seller's list.
